Make Check-in a Breeze

If you have booked a room in the Ali’i Tower, go directly to the Alii Tower or the Kalia Tower, you can skip the main lobby reception desk and go straight to that tower check in. View resort map

Arrival To the Main Lobby

To be taken directly to the main lobby of the hotel, please take a taxi or the use the Speedi-Shuttle (see Transportation) from the Honolulu International Airport. The Airport Shuttle Bus will drop you off at the Great Lawn or Tapa Tower Drop-off/Pick-up location.

For ADA arrivals, there is an HHV Express Cart that can pick you up at the Great Lawn or Tapa Tower Drop-Off/Pick-up and will take you and your luggage to the lobby. For assistance, ask any doorman or call ext. 41 on a resort house phone.



Travel to and from the airport and get around town with these transit options:
Speedi-Shuttle is the only shuttle service that can access the main lobby of the resort. The Airport Shuttle Bus takes you to the Great Lawn or Tapa Tower Drop-Off/Pick-Up, and all other shuttles drop off at the Tapa Bus Terminal.

Charley’s Taxi

National Car Rental

Public Bus Transportation

Hilton Hawaiian Village provides a six-level parking garage, conveniently accessible from all towers at the resort. Self-parking and valet parking are both available.

Oversized Vehicles: Vehicles over 6′ 6″ do not fit in our parking garage and would need to be Valet parked. We strongly encourage guests to not rent or bring any oversized vehicles to the resort. If you are a registered hotel guest with an oversized vehicle, you will have to leave the vehicle with valet parking and will be charged the overnight valet parking charge for large vehicles. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Speedi-Shuttle is the only shuttle services that can drop off and pick up in the Main lobby of the resort. All shuttles are accessible for persons with wheelchairs via portable ramps. Please see a SpeediShuttle Greeter in baggage claim. No advance notice required.

Bring the kids along!

NABC Child Care Services are provided during the afternoon and evening sessions for the first Friday through the second Sunday including the national and regional events on the second Sunday. Special arrangements may be made for Morning KOs and Fast Pair events. Dinner and after hour sessions are also available.

The caregiver/child ratio is one caregiver for every three-five children (depending on the ages). Babies 3 months to 1 year require a one-to-one ratio. The children’s ages range from 3 months to 10 years of age. Additionally, there is a “Junior Sitter Program” for children 11-13.

Age-appropriate toys, games, books, activities, computer programs, music, arts and crafts, dramatic play and movies are provided. Field trips are planned throughout the week. There is a Pizza Party between sessions on Thursday and a Sleepover Party on the second Saturday. There are also bridge lessons and play prior to and during the evening sessions for those children interested in learning the game.

The cost is $25 per (bridge) session for the first two children and $40 per (bridge) session for three-four children. Babies 3 months to 1 year are $40 per (bridge) session.

Team Entry Fees: For team events of three or more sessions, the entry fee is the base price of the event, times the number of people on the team. For example, an event with a base price of $16 is $64 for a team of four, $80 for a team of five, or $96 for a team of six.

Note: In all team events, except one- or two-session Swiss, entry fees are charged on a per person basis.


Youth and Junior Entries

Any Junior under the age of 26 years who is a full-time student (must provide proof of eligibility) will be entitled to coupons that can be used for any event. These coupons will have a value of $10 per session.

Any Junior under the age of 21 years will be entitled to coupons that can be used for any event. These coupons have a value of $10.

Any Junior 19 years and under will be granted free plays for each session regional-rated events.

Juniors under the age of 26 years named to teams to represent Zone 2 NBOs in world competitions for NABCs occurring between the time they are named to the team and the world championship will receive free plays at NABCs when playing with members of their team or members of another team representing a Zone 2 NBO.

Club and Cruise Directors Course

This comprehensive course prepares candidates for directing club and bridge cruise games. Anyone interested in becoming a club director or a director aboard a cruise ship is invited to participate. Best Practices Teacher Workshop

This workshop will train teachers on how, rather than what, to teach. It is built around simulations to engage participants in analyzing and practicing as well as giving and receiving feedback on working with students while delivering bridge lessons, and have the opportunity to earn ACBL’s Best Teaching Practices Certification.

Proficiency assessments to earn Best Practices Teacher certification are conducted at the conclusion of the workshop for an additional $25 fee and are optional.

Learn Bridge in A Day?

Move quickly along the initial learning curve. Participants should include true beginners, those returning to bridge after long absences and those wanting to “test the waters” before committing to formal classes. Learn Bridge in A Day? ® Instructor Accreditation

This program instructs teachers in methods of administering and presenting LBIAD.
Teachers wishing to be accredited must complete the following two requirements:

  • Serve as a Table Mentor at an LBIAD seminar led by Patty Tucker, and
  • Attend a two-hour LBIAD Teacher Training event presented by Whirlwind Bridge.

Teacher Training will include information on organizing and marketing LBIAD as well as maximizing retention rates, writing effective grant requests and the presentation of the seminar.

Audrey Grant’s Continuing Education for Teachers and Club Managers

When it comes to bridge, Audrey Grant is a household name. For decades, she has taught students, teachers and club owners across the world. Her hands-on approach and creative use of the table, cards and bid boxes has helped keep students engaged, excited and focused.

Audrey will walk through and explain these teaching techniques in this hour-and-a-half seminar. Following the seminar, you can attend her free two-hour bridge lesson. You’ll observe Audrey’s techniques at work and see how she leaves each student hungering to learn more.
